Villa Meri accessibility

Villa Meri is a two-story building. The first floor is accessible via a ramp from the front door. This floor houses the dining and lounge areas, among other facilities. The second floor, which houses the panoramic sauna, terrace, suites, and meeting room, is only accessible via internal stairs – there is no elevator, so the space is not accessible for people with reduced mobility. Do not hesitate to ask us, if you have questions.

If a wedding or other event is held at Sulhasmäki, be prepared for natural terrain: the route is a wooded and partly rocky path. We recommend practical footwear, such as sneakers, especially in unstable weather. Shoes with heels are not suitable for the route.

The cottages are located on a slope and the structure is not designed to be accessible.

Accessibility of Ylöstalo cottages

All of our cottages are located on a western slope in natural terrain. Some of the cottages are built on rock, while others are located on slightly gentle slopes. The location and surroundings of the cottages can be seen in the cottage photos on our website.

Each cottage can be reached by car, but the entrances to the cottages have steps, as do most of the terraces. There are also height differences and steps in the surroundings of several cottages, such as on the walkways and in the yard areas. The structures are not designed to be accessible, and the cottage area (e.g., piers and paths) is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

Accessibility of the Nixor terrace restaurant

Restaurant Nixor has an access ramp leading to the restaurant terrace. The restaurant is located on one floor, but the terrace has several different levels, rocks, and small differences in height. There are no stairs to the restrooms, and they are accessible from the outdoor area of the building’s terrace.
