Nixor Summer Restaurant in Förby
You’ll find good food, the sea, and a relaxed island atmosphere all in one place. The menu has something for everyone, from burgers and salads to ribs. Enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. Nixor isn’t too sophisticated, but it’s always full of good vibes.
It’s easy to get to Nixor – either along the beautiful archipelago road or straight from the sea. Our piers offer a sheltered spot for boaters to come ashore, and there’s parking available near the bridge for cars. The Niksaari archipelago road and restaurant on the island make this place special, and the surrounding sea completes the atmosphere.
Live music on summer nights
On summer Saturdays, Nixor comes to life. Live music, good company, and a relaxed vibe make the evening just right. There’s room for both picnic-style lounging and larger groups. No reservation needed, just show up and enjoy.

With over 200 seats indoors and outdoors, Nixor has plenty of space for both small groups and larger gatherings. Furry friends are just as welcome as their two-legged companions. We don’t take table reservations. Just come as you are.
Arriving by boat: The waters around the island are quite shallow. The deepest spot is near the pontoon pier by the boat launch on the southern side of the island.
In 2023, Nixor was chosen by readers in Ilta-Sanomat as one of Finland’s best summer terrace restaurants.
